Michelle Sullivan | Executive Producer & Co-Host

Michelle Sullivan is the founder of Advocate Like a Mother podcast. Michelle also founded Littlest Warrior Apparel which she recently sold. She is the author of the children’s book about Down syndrome titled Eli, Included.

She lives in Orange County, CA and is married to her high school sweetheart, Eric. They have 4 kids and their youngest Eli, has Down syndrome and a heart defect. Eli opened her eyes to the world of advocacy.

Michelle is passionate about showing people their worth - whether it’s someone with a disability, or a woman who has yet to see herself through God’s eyes.

Ileana Sosa | Producer & Co-Host

Ileana Sosa is a wife to a special education teacher, mother of 2 daughters, Vienna and Giselle (with another on the way), a disability advocate and the creator of The Special Life of Us blog.

After receiving Giselle’s diagnosis of microcephaly and spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she set out to not only share their family’s story of hope to those walking through a similar path but to connect with and empower others to find their voice in their advocacy journey.

With a Bachelor’s in Public Health, she has a deep desire to facilitate greater conversations about changing societal narratives of what it means to raise a child with disabilities. Learn more by following over at IG: @thespeciallifeofus

Andy Lara | Producer, Editor, & Co-HoST

Andy Lara has been married to Mercedes Lara (The Lucky Few Podcast) since 2010, raising their 4 kids in Oceanside, CA. He is father to Sunflower Lara, who has down syndrome.

Andy has been co-hosting and producing podcasts (The VOX Podcast, Carry the Fire Podcast) since 2015 in addition to offering his services as a freelance Creative Director for hire.

As a young musician immersed in the hardcore and punk music scene of the late 90s/00s, his charisma for justice and equality has translated into his career with organizations and podcasts that strive to create safe spaces and platforms for those in the margins.
